Microneedling Treatment
Microneedling works by using fine needles to puncture the skin, resulting in collagen and elastin production which helps improve scars (including acne scars) fine lines, wrinkles, and stretch marks.

Microneedling involves the use of a device that contains fine sterile needles which create micro‑channels or “pin‑pricks” in the upper layers of your skin. The intention is to stimulate your skin’s natural repair processes (collagen and elastin formation). The result is smoother, firmer, more even-toned skin.

You may be a good candidate for microneedling if you want to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve the appearance of scars and other textural irregularities, refine pore size, and improve skin laxity.

Microneedling is performed in the office. Your skin is cleansed, and numbing cream is applied for 20-30 minutes for your comfort. You can expect to be in the office for 45-60 minutes. Our treatments are performed using Collagen P.I.N. The best results are seen with a series of treatments and ongoing maintenance.

After treatment, you can expect redness, swelling and skin flaking for 48-72 hours (or longer if you’ve had a more aggressive treatment). We recommend a physical sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more to protect the skin during the healing process and after treatment to maintain your results.
